Issues concerning industry and market conditions

It is obvious that corporate basic product or service can help us explain why some manufacturers are born to be local and others as global with different company locations. There shall then also statistically be significant differences between the enterprises of industry affiliations, but they are surprisingly small, with only some selected high-tech industries (software, research and development in science and engineering) and the manufacture of office machinery, telecommunications equipment and medical equipment, instruments, watches, etc. have a preponderance of “Born Global Firms”. This type of activity and also all other available are, however, wide in all industries where one can find business locations. The conclusion must be that a new business and thus an entrepreneur, regardless of industry and product has the ability to 'choose' what type of company you want yours to be.
Corporate geographic companies located in Denmark appear to play a major role. Businesses were also in the questionnaire to the CEO who asked how the total demand in their industry had developed in the past three years (i.e. in the period from 2001-2004).What emerge are not major differences between business types, so none of them are unique to high-or low-growth industries. When it comes to the market conditions in which the five types of companies operate today, so there are few significant differences between them and the concentration in the industry, supplier and customer power, entry barriers, own market share or competitive intensity. Overall, less obvious differences are there between company types when it comes to industry and environmental conditions than when such matters relating to the establishment of the company, including founders number and characteristics. There are no statistically significant differences in the current size of the five business types. The trend is that the “Born International” and “Born European Sources Firms” are the largest with an average of 90-100 employees, while “Born International Sellers” are the smallest with about 50 employees. Both “Born Local Firms” and “Born Global Firms” have about 75 employees. The variation is thus large.
